Red Flags
Red flags are simple visual clues that are a sign of potential avalanche danger. Please record any sign of red flags below.
Observer Comments

Observed no signs of recent avalanches and no whumphing (snow settlement under foot). Ski cuts on short wind loaded gully walls produced 5cm thick pizza boxes that did not slide.

Weather & Snow Characteristics
Please provide details to help us determine the weather and snowpack during the time this observation took place.
Weather

Started out under partly cloudy skies which transitioned to status layer later in the day. Winds calm. At 1400 was 17deg.

Snow surface

Usual mixed bag of snow conditions, ranging from loose snow and stiff powder in valley bottom to wind board in saddle (pic). Indications of recent wind transport.

Snowpack

Did quick pit at 3460ft just inside S. frk Eagle River drainage 0.1mi NE of Rendevous Pk. (Profile attached and pit wall pic). Facet layers under slab and MF crust still reactive. Got ECTPV on slab overlying rounding facets (pic). Seems these weak layers have not healed as well as in the Turnagain area.
