Unverified info sounds like this was a west facing aspect between 3500' -4000'
We received a report of a snowmachine triggered avalanche today way up Archangel past Fairangel. The rider triggered the slide and rode out of it as seen in the picture. No one was caught or carried. Although this area is out of our forecast zone it is a good reminder that avalanches are still possible in isolated and extreme terrain and conditions many vary up Archangel and on the Willow side of Hatcher Pass where weather and snowpack can be different than the main forecast zone. Although nearly 100 people were out recreating today we only received reports of three small human triggered slabs (pockets) in isolated and extreme terrain. 2 of these occurred in Eldorado Bowl and 1 on the west face of Gold Chord. Thanks for sharing folks!
