Route & General Observations

Toured out into Archangel Valley to ski an unnamed (as far as we know) east-facing couloir off the ridge extending northeast from the Pinnacle. We were skinning up the apron and felt & heard a massive whumph beneath us. No cracks or shooting cracks. We decided not to continue and skied out as safely as we could. Nothing slid. The line had no ski tracks in it and we did not see any avalanches throughout the day.
