Route & General Observations

Headed up the road to Summit Pass and then up the ridge to access the top of April Bowl. Heading past $1000 Run I started to get whumpfing and shooting cracks. When I reached the North slope of April Bowl, I went out on a test slope, stomped once, and remote triggered an avalanche 30-50′ away. I headed back down the ridge to descend $1000 Run. See other reports for $1000 Run avalanche.
