Route & General Observations

Headed up from Skeetawk towards 4068 at noon and enjoyed partly sunny skies which quickly deteriorated into mostly cloudy/flat light by the time we were at the base of wimp bowl. Snow surface did have a few inches of powder however skiing remains marginal at best…wind affect still evident on higher elevation slopes.

Avalanche Details

Noticed small slide in steeper drainage above creek as we skinned up towards 4068. Unknown when this occurred. Did not travel far up 4068 due to very flat light conditions however did not notice any other red flags during tour. Marked wind affect at base of 4068 which created huge drifts now covered with a bit of powder.
