At 1:15 a.m a natural avalanche released in 3 Bowls. The avalanche reached the road and about a 500-foot section of the road was covered by at least 40 feet of snow. There is no indication that people were trapped and no homes were hit. DOT and police are currently at the scene and evaluating. Please avoid the area.
