Observation: Hatcher Pass

We toured up the low angle bowl East of Delia creek from the Goldmint lot, for some mellow powder laps and to practice digging / recording pits. We observed a layer of small surface hoar in the bowl along with ~15 cm of low density powder over a crust. The crust was more breakable at the lower elevations near the alder line.
