It’s a GO! Turnagain Pass Avy Day – Saturday, March 25th

It’s a GO!! Saturday, March 25.
As of Friday, Mar 24, the motorized parking lot is all plowed out and ready for our festivities (thanks AKDOT).

We’ll be hanging around the Turnagain Motorized parking lot from noon to 5pm ish to chat avalanches, practice with your rescue gear (beacon, shovel, probe), and mingle while we cook up hotdogs and other tasty things. Swing by before or after your ride or ski and look for the blue avalanche trailer and a bunch of other trailers and tents.

Alaska Mining and Diving and Anchorage Polaris and Yamaha will be there to provide demo snowmachines and the Alaska Avalanche School will help with honing your beacon skills. The best parking lot event at Turnagain, don’t miss out!
