AVALANCHE RESCUE WORKSHOP AT ARCTIC MAN 2014
THE CNFAIC IS TEAMING UP WITH THE ALASKA AVALANCHE SCHOOL TO HOST A FREE AVALANCHE RESCUE WORKSHOP AT ARCTIC MAN. THE WORKSHOP IS GEARED FOR ANYONE INTERESTED IN LEARNING OR IMPROVING AVALANCHE RESCUE TECHNIQUES AS WELL AS TALKING ABOUT NEW AND IMPROVED RESCUE GEAR.
WHERE: MEET AT THE CNFAIC TRAILER (NEAR THE TROOPER HEADQUARTERS) AT ARCTIC MAN.
WHEN: THURSDAY, APRIL 10 FROM 12:00PM TO 2:00PM.
WHAT: WE WILL BE FOCUSING ON COMPANION RESCUE. TOPICS INCLUDE BEACON SEARCHING, PROBING, STRATEGIC SHOVELING AND AIRBAG PACKS.
THIS IS A GREAT OPPORTUNITY TO HONE YOUR SKILLS AND GET COACHING FROM EXPERTS IN THE INDUSTRY.
