We believe this avalanche occurred on a SW or W aspect near Hatcher Pass. The photo clearly shows the slab sliding on a sun crust bed surface. The description of the avalanche follows persistent slab behavior in that the avalanche was triggered on the FOURTH lap. Location and aspect have not been verified.
