Flat light in parking lot. Headed up groomer and toward tailings pile below granite mountain south. Plan was to make a nice tour, access snow and ski conditions and hope for a pop and drop in a coolie.

2 small avalanches triggered in shallow wind loaded pockets. Triggered at feet while skinning. Propagation was fast and took entire wind slab, spacial variability kept avalanches small and limited run out.
