Snowbird Glacier on October 28-29. The new snow fell on top of surface hoar and weak snow and also formed a wind slab with a hollow layer underneath.

Recent slab avalanches from the last storm on both the glacier and unglaciated slopes failing on top of buried surface hoar. Widespread weak layer beneath the windslab.
