Route & General Observations

Skinned up Skyscraper from IM parking lot. Good skin track about 7/8 of the way up with an easy booter to the top. Continued up El Dorado Bowl and encountered southwest winds. Observed decent cornice on the north facing slopes of Skyscraper and Eldorado Bowl. About 15-25 CM of nice powder on top and an EXCELLENT ride down.

No Red Flags, but observed moderate cornices and a few signs of wind loading.

Weather

Some new snow from earlier in the week. Winds appeared to have stayed light despite high winds in the valley this week. Observed southwest wind when on ridge and observed snow transport. Temps were in the single digits to start and in teens by mid-day.

Observed new snow, 15-25CM deep in most places with excellent skiing conditions.
