Route & General Observations

Lots of folks out enjoying the sunshine today. We observed several new avalanches from Saturday 1/29 on Microdot, Punkspines, and Arkose Ridge. Today, one snowmachiner triggered a large persistent slab avalanche north of Friendship Pass. A separate snowmachiner remotely triggered a large avalanche today up Archangel in Lane Valley. Yesterday 1/29 a snowmachiner triggered a large avalanche north of Skyscraper on the Willow side of Hatcher Pass. Its hard to say whether many of us made good decisions today or just got lucky.
