Toured up microdot on south side, kicked cornices onto north with no results, skied down 2nd chute on south aspect, wrapped lower benches, investigated snowpack, conducted study pit for monitoring tracked layers.

Snow surface
wind blown crusts, old rain crusts in few places which overly very advanced facets (highly variable), sastrugi, raised tracks, 2" wind blown soft snow, very small locations of perfect angle of incidence sun crusts.
Snowpack
Poor structure, high strength, low energy, high variability - poor continuity
Poor structure could be more problematic in isolated locations as spring warms up, free water is available or temps soften thick slabs enabling humans to affect deeper layers.
Some areas of pure facets in shallow locations.
