Skinned up the normal southern up track. 1.5 cm rain-crust overlaying powder. We had planned to snowboard the standard southern gully. Head a whump while laying the skin track from lower shoulder to the top. Triggered one shooting crack. Skied down skin track.

Dug a small pit at the top of microdot on a shallow, southeastern aspect ~35° slope. CTM 15 Q2. Failed on storm slab at 25cm beneath snow surface ( approximately 75 cm from ground).
