Route & General Observations

Three folks departed Goldmint Trailhead about 10:45. Toured to about 2900 ft. Snow surface was able to support skier weight quite well until about 12:00, and then it started to get punchy. We chose lowest possible angles on the decent. Numerous local collapses near the upper alder line. Observed a moderate sized wet slab avalanche, which we may have remote triggered from below. There was a terrain feature between us and the slide path which provided natural protection.

Moderately short but steep slope. Crown appeared to be a few feet deep.
