Route & General Observations

Toured part of the way to Birthday Pass on a warm day, glide cracks everywhere. We found D1 wet loose activity on steep southerlies and roller balls near rock bands. I’m not sure when wet loose activity occurred.

South facing 30 degree slope

Ice crust near the surface was reactive in CTs.

We found a thick layer of gruapel 4-6mm in size, 45cm from surface that produced PST95/100 Arr 45cm down on 4-6mm Gruapel.
Overall in our pit we found poor structure, moderate strength, and low propagation potential
