The 7th annual Snow Stories fundraiser will have an amazing lineup of storytellers back on the stage front and center at Bear Tooth! Forecasters, friends, and speakers will be on the big stage! 2025-2026 Avalanche Scholarships now open for applications!

The Chugach Avalanche Center is once again happy to offer avalanche education scholarships for the 2025-2026 season. Please note that the application process is slightly different than in past years. The application period ends on October 31st.

2025/26 Internship Program – Accepting Applications – Deadline June 30!

This program has been highly successful, a staple for the center, and promotes a pipeline for aspiring snow/avalanche professionals. Peak 3 – New Weather Station (Chugach State Park)
