Turnagain Pass Avalanche Awareness Day – Sat, March 19th!
Also known as the Turnagain Takeover, the third Saturday in March is becoming a tradition for getting together, messing around with our avalanche rescue gear, being available to answer questions and generally have a good time connecting with our community. Local businesses, such as AMDS, Anchorage Yamaha and Polaris, and Ski AK have been known to be there with demo snowmachines/avy gear/hotdogs and more!
