Went out for an avy skills refresher day. Tincan up route to 2,200 ft.

Several Wet Loose in the 2,500-3,000 elevation band.

am rescue practice in meadow: overcast, light rain, light variable wind
pm: broken clouds, intermittent light snow and rain, white precip in sky ~2,000 ft. freeze line higher, light-mod NE winds, blowing snow above 3,000' from NE winds.

top 25cm was rain soaked, a bit sloppy but not too bad with a warm wax.

3 pits dug: 2,100 & 2,200 ft. SW
HS 250-300cm
4F moist-wet top 25cm
pencil -> pencil + hard all below for 200cm
