Route & General Observations

Sunburst, right skin track from the parking lot, next to the creek, then traversed farther left to the standard ridge.
Dug a pit at 3500′ and skied back down to the car.
Great skiing above 2200. A supportable crust was noticeable below that and all the way to the car, with 10 cms of snow on top to ski just fine.

Good hero snow to ski.

Shovel Shear breaking @ 21 cms undersurface.
Grain looked to me like like decomposing particles. (Wondering if was the BSH affected by wind?)

No signs of instability. Still skied a conservative line.
