Route & General Observations

Tour up to Manitoba.
Supersaturated snow below treeline. Wet and heavy.
Wind from the East showed a lot of W aspect pockets of powder and pillows wind loaded. Sastrugi up in higher elevations.
A lot of Whumpfing along the opening of skin track around treeline.

Broken sky, light winds from the E, Snow transportation. No Precipitation at the beginning. Flurries on the ski out.
Sunny at times, then low visibility and winds.

Localized pockets of powder, mostly wind loaded. Sastrugi in some parts and wind affected surface.

Pit at 3500
W (250º) aspect
SA=29º
PF=25 cm / PS =N/O
HS=300 cms.

CT12 @ 45 below surface. On a BSH ~ 4mm. SP/Q1.
ECTN16 @ 65 cms below surface. Grain= N/O. Q3.
