Some whumphing was observed, although primarily between closely spaced alder patches

Wet heavy cream cheese snow

Snowpack

Pit 2200 ft, west aspect, 31* slope, HS=150: primary layer of concern was faceted boundary between new and old snow 20cm from surface(CT24 sc). Found buried surface hoar from mid February, but not reactive to instability tests. Upper 80cm of snow pack was wet.
