Backcountry Skiing/Snowboarding Skills

February 25

| $125

Are you new to backcountry skiing or snowboarding? Do you want to make the most of your “earned turns?” This is a full-day clinic focused on backcountry skiing and riding skills in preparation for truly enjoying your backcountry experience and safety. Students will spend the morning on groomed slopes focusing on making good turns and learning proper technique. Students will then progress off the groomers to learn the techniques for riding off-piste slopes and practicing skills in variable terrain and snow conditions.

Required Equipment: Students must have their own skis or snowboards*. These classes will be taught in-bounds so avalanche equipment is not required.

Cost: $125

The February 25, 2018 class will focus on beginning and intermediate riders.
The March 3, 2017 class is designed for intermediate to advanced riders.
However we may be able to accommodate all levels either day.
