Location: Tincan, not far from the parking lot

Date: Dec 25th, 2012

The storm snow is decidedly touchy and propagating well. This test slope is
right on the standard up track at tincan, not far from the car. It failed on the
new snow old snow interface while I was ~10 feet back from the crown. We had
numerous collapses in the trees, one of which propagated ~30 ft above me. We
bailed shortly after that.
